TCS NQT Mock Test 2026: 50 Free Questions [With Solutions]
The single most useful prep activity in the last week before TCS NQT is a full-length timed mock. Reading concepts only takes you so far; you need to feel the clock pressure, get the section-switching reflex right, and surface the gaps you actually have. This page gives you a 50-question mock matching the 2026 exam structure, with worked-out solutions at the end.
Before you start: review the TCS NQT 2026 exam pattern and syllabus so you know what each section weighs.
How to Use This Mock
- Time yourself strictly. Set a 90-minute timer. The real exam gives you between 75 and 110 minutes for the cognitive sections depending on the year; 90 minutes is the safe rehearsal target.
- No flipping back to solutions until you finish all 50 questions. The whole point is to simulate test conditions.
- Section-switching is real. TCS NQT does not let you carry unused time forward across all sections, so practice closing each block in its allotted minutes.
- Track three numbers: total correct, time per question, and which section bled the most minutes. That's your focus list for the next mock.
Section-Wise Time Targets
| Section | Questions | Suggested Time | Cutoff Zone |
|---|---|---|---|
| Numerical Ability | 15 | 25 min | 9–10 correct |
| Verbal Ability | 15 | 18 min | 10–11 correct |
| Reasoning Ability | 15 | 25 min | 9–10 correct |
| Programming Logic | 5 | 12 min | 3–4 correct |
| Buffer / review | , | 10 min | , |
These targets line up with the 60–67 percentile cutoff zone that TCS has used to filter Ninja-eligible candidates in recent cycles. Hit them consistently across two full mocks and you are in shape to clear the qualifier.

What Your Score Means
- 45+ correct: TCS Digital eligible. Push for 49+ on the next mock.
- 35–44 correct: Ninja-eligible zone. Focus on Numerical and Reasoning gaps.
- 25–34 correct: Below cutoff. Solve logical reasoning and aptitude sets daily for two weeks before re-attempting.
- Below 25: Restart with the 30-day NQT plan.
Up next: practice the coding decoding shortcuts and the blood-relations trick guide, these two reasoning sub-types alone account for ~20% of the section.
Final Tips Before the Real Exam
- Sleep is non-negotiable. Cognitive throughput drops 20–30% on 5 hours vs. 7 hours. Sleep 7 hours the night before.
- Eat carbs, not sugar. Heavy sugar 30 minutes before the test causes a mid-test crash.
- Programming Logic is leverage. It is only 5 questions but each carries weight; clearing 4 of 5 lifts you from Ninja to Digital range.
- Don't get stuck. Skip any question that takes more than 90 seconds. Mark for review and come back.
